Tiendanube 2027: the year in large numerals over a line drawing of the Andes

Tiendanube 2027: what's coming for your online store

We came back from Mendoza with one certainty: the store that will sell in 2027 is not the same one that sells today.

From October 22 to 24 we took part in the first Tiendanube Agency Summit, a gathering exclusive to Blue Titanium agencies. Three days at the same table as Tiendanube's leadership, talking about the business and product vision for next year.

What was discussed behind closed doors stays there. But much of where the platform is heading is already public, and it's worth putting the pieces together. This is what we already know about Tiendanube for 2027, and what it means for your brand.

Tiendanube Argentina, first half of 2026: online sales up 42.1%, real price per product down about 17%, 1 in 4 stores uses AI

You sell more, but each sale leaves less

The platform's numbers are good. In the first half of 2026, online sales on Tiendanube Argentina grew 42.1% year over year, with more than 12 million orders and 56 million products sold, according to the NubeCommerce MidTerm 2026 report published by Mobile Time.

The fine print tells another story. Among stores that were already selling last year, revenue grew 26.9%, below inflation, and the real price per product fell about 17%. "Growth is explained more by volume than by price," summed up Franco Radavero, general manager of Tiendanube Argentina, in Mercado.

For your store, that means raising prices is no longer enough to protect your margin. In 2027, margin is defended with conversion. Every visit that doesn't buy costs more than it used to.

Your store no longer lives only on the web

One in four paid stores in Argentina already uses artificial intelligence, and most still use it experimentally. Chat Nube, Tiendanube's assistant that sells through WhatsApp and Instagram, handled more than 1.65 million conversations in the first half and resolved almost 6 out of 10 without a person stepping in (Mercado).

At the same time, more and more purchases start in an AI assistant. According to Santiago Sosa, Tiendanube's CEO, sales from these channels go from about 10 million dollars last year to nearly 100 million by the end of 2026 (Forbes Argentina). We also covered it in our article on ChatGPT Ads.

This changes a basic question. A good-looking website is no longer enough: catalog, prices, stock and shipping need to be so well organized that an assistant can sell them without anyone touching them.

Tiendanube can now be built to measure

It's a question we hear often from large brands: "Will Tiendanube fall short for us?" It has less and less ground.

Today the platform lets you connect your store to ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, and build your own apps that run inside Tiendanube or on the brand's infrastructure, such as gift cards, spin-to-win wheels or calendars (Forbes Argentina). In practice, your store is no longer limited to what the theme offers.

We see it in the migrations we've done. Brands like Etiqueta Negra and Gola moved to Tiendanube Evolución from Magento, with years of custom development behind them. Migrating wasn't just moving: it was the chance to rebuild what wasn't working, on a platform that now lets each business add what it needs.

Shipping and payment: where the sale is won or lost

The shopping experience doesn't end at the buy button. According to Sosa, every day of delivery delay cuts conversion by about 2%, which is why logistics and checkout are among the platform's priorities (Forbes Argentina).

The way people pay has changed too. In the first half, bank transfers reached 27.2% of orders, single-installment payments rose to 67.1%, and six-installment purchases dropped from 14.3% to 9.9%. Free shipping is still part of almost half of all purchases (Mobile Time).

They look like small day-to-day changes, but they decide whether your checkout is built for how people buy today or for how they bought two years ago.

Questions your brand should ask before 2027

There's no single recipe, but there are questions worth asking now, before next year's big sales dates arrive:

  • Does my margin depend on raising prices or on converting better? If it's the former, 2026 already showed the limit.
  • Is my catalog ready to be sold by someone who isn't a person? Assistants, chats and AI search read your store differently.
  • Does my store do what my business needs, or what the theme allows? That gap can now be closed.
  • Does my checkout match how my customers pay and receive their orders? Transfers, single installments, delivery times.

What's next

We brought back more work than photos from the Summit. Tiendanube is betting on stores selling in more places, with more intelligence and less friction. Brands that reach 2027 with their store in order will make the most of that shift. The rest will watch it from the outside.
